Customization Generalities for the Schedule Viewer

It is easy to select specific typefaces, typesizes, and colors for the items that are printed. It is also easy to specify conditions under which these selections should be applied (e.g., according to course location, type, number, etc.) One can also control the conditions under which courses/sections with common information will be placed together in the plot; the format of information in the plot can be varied, too. Examples with detailed explanations are available, but that is only for the adventurous. For the less adventurous, various predefined customizations are provided; they can be downloaded and used as is or easily modified in simple ways.

For now the variety of typefaces, typesizes, and colors are shown here:

• Typefaces and typesizes are shown here. In each case, the short abbreviation used in the command to generate the type face is followed by the name of the face set in the relevant kind of type. The entire list of typefaces is repeated at each typesize, with the name of the typesize preceeding the list. Available: postscript, PDF.
• The available colors are invoked by the names shown here on a white background (PS, PDF). and on a black background (PS, PDF).
